This Privacy Policy explains how Lockodoro handles information when you use the Lockodoro mobile application.
1. Who we are
Lockodoro is provided by Krzysztof Bonecki (“Lockodoro,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
For privacy questions or requests, email krzysztofboneckikontakt@gmail.com or visit Support.
2. Summary
- Lockodoro does not require you to create an account.
- Timer data, session history, focus tags, preferences, rewards, and Screen Time selections are stored locally on your device.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- If you use Premium features or make a purchase, purchase and entitlement information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat so we can complete, validate, restore, and manage the purchase.
3. Information stored on your device
Lockodoro stores the following information locally:
- timer state and configured focus and break durations;
- session history, including session times, duration, completion status, and selected focus tags;
- statistics and reward information calculated from your local session history;
- app settings, onboarding status, interface preferences, and feature settings;
- notification, Live Activity, and widget state needed to show your timer;
- Screen Time authorization state and opaque application, category, and website selection tokens used by Apple’s Family Controls framework.
This information is used to provide the app’s features. We do not upload this focus data to our own servers or to RevenueCat.
Your device and Apple services may include app data in device backups according to the backup settings and privacy terms of your Apple Account. We do not control those backups.
4. Screen Time and App Blocker
If you choose to use App Blocker, Lockodoro asks Apple’s Family Controls framework for permission and displays Apple’s system picker.
The selected apps, categories, and websites are represented by opaque tokens supplied by Apple and are stored locally on your device. They are used only to apply the blocking behavior you request during focus sessions. We do not receive a readable list of the apps or websites you select, and we do not transmit your Screen Time selections to our servers or to RevenueCat.
You can stop using App Blocker in Lockodoro settings and manage Screen Time permission in iOS Settings.
5. Purchases and RevenueCat
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card number or bank account details.
Lockodoro uses RevenueCat, Inc. as a service provider to manage Premium purchases and entitlements. When RevenueCat is enabled, it may process:
- a randomly generated anonymous RevenueCat App User ID;
- device type, operating system, locale, and store environment information;
- product identifiers, purchase and subscription status, entitlement status, and purchase history;
- Apple receipt and transaction information;
- timestamps such as when the app or purchase record was last seen by RevenueCat.
We use this information to:
- display products and localized prices;
- validate purchases and prevent purchase fraud;
- unlock Premium features;
- restore purchases;
- determine subscription and entitlement status;
- analyze purchase performance in RevenueCat’s purchase dashboards and experiments;
- provide purchase-related customer support.
Lockodoro currently does not send your name, email address, phone number, advertising identifier, or a custom account identifier to RevenueCat. Lockodoro does not use RevenueCat data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.
RevenueCat acts as a data processor for this information on our behalf. Read RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy .
6. Apple services
Lockodoro uses Apple platform services including App Store In-App Purchase, notifications, Live Activities, widgets, App Groups, and Family Controls.
Apple processes information under Apple’s own privacy policies. Apple may retain App Store purchase records independently for transaction, fraud-prevention, accounting, and legal purposes.
7. How we use information
We use information only as needed to:
- operate Lockodoro and provide features you request;
- save and display your local timer and session history;
- process and restore purchases;
- provide Premium access;
- secure the purchase flow and prevent fraud;
- respond to support and privacy requests;
- comply with applicable legal, tax, accounting, and App Store obligations.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, processing may be necessary to perform our agreement with you, comply with legal obligations, or pursue legitimate interests such as operating and securing the app. Where consent is required, we rely on your consent.
8. How information is shared
We share information only with service providers necessary to operate the features described in this Policy:
- Apple, for App Store purchases and Apple platform services;
- RevenueCat, for purchase validation, entitlement management, restoration, purchase analytics, and purchase support.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Tracking, advertising, and analytics
Lockodoro does not contain third-party advertising SDKs and does not track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.
Lockodoro does not currently use a general product analytics SDK or third-party crash-reporting SDK. RevenueCat’s dashboards process purchase history for purchase analytics and app functionality as described above.
10. Retention and deletion
Local app data remains on your device until it is removed through an available in-app action, the app’s storage is cleared, or Lockodoro is uninstalled. Copies may remain temporarily in Apple-managed device backups according to your backup settings.
Purchase and entitlement records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and restore purchases, maintain entitlement history, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and satisfy accounting, tax, contractual, or legal obligations. Apple retains purchase records under its own retention rules. RevenueCat processes and retains data under its agreement with us and applicable legal obligations.
You may request access, correction, or deletion of information processed by us or by RevenueCat on our behalf by contacting us. We will verify and process the request as required by applicable law and will instruct RevenueCat when necessary. Some transaction information may need to be retained where required by law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Deleting RevenueCat data does not delete records independently held by Apple and does not cancel an active subscription. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:
- request access to personal information;
- request correction or deletion;
- request restriction of or object to processing;
- receive portable data where applicable;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- appeal a privacy-request decision;
- complain to an appropriate data protection authority.
We do not discriminate against users for exercising applicable privacy rights.
To make a request, email krzysztofboneckikontakt@gmail.com with the subject “Lockodoro Privacy Request.” We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the request and locate the relevant purchase record.
12. International data transfers
RevenueCat and its infrastructure providers may process purchase-related information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers are protected using appropriate contractual and organizational safeguards.
13. Children
Lockodoro is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect contact information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information. Local app data is protected by the security controls of your device. Purchase information sent to Apple and RevenueCat is transmitted using encrypted network connections.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
15. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Lockodoro, our service providers, or applicable requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date and publish the revised Policy at the same URL.
